This cap is based on Venetian originals from the 14th and 15th centuries on which can be seen in paintings and manuscripts. A nice accessory for children who re-enact the Late Middle Ages and Renaissance. The cap is worn over the forehead with a folded edge. This creates extra volume at the top, just like the original caps.
